Humane Society volunteer killed in motorcycle crash




BURTON — Tara Sturgis, 28, of Gaines died Saturday in a motorcycle accident in Ingham County. Her husband, John Sturgis, was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The grounds of Assumption Greek Orthodox Church off Baldwin Road were once again filled with thousands of people coming out to enjoy the third annual Greek Festival.
