BURTON — Police have arrested a suspect following the stabbing a 33-year-old woman in a vehicle in the parking lot outside Courtland Center mall.

Burton Police responded around 10 p.m. April 5 for a domestic situation after, according to police, the woman and her ex-boyfriend got into an argument in the parking lot outside the Old Country Buffet in the mall. Police said the woman’s ex-boyfriend stabbed her more than 10 times, and the woman got out of the vehicle and tried to get back into the restaurant, which was closed.
