Broadcasting for toys

Last Friday, CARS 108 radio personalities Rod Prahin and Erin Bishop teamed up with the Salvation Army to host a toy drive at the Bristol Road Tim Hortons. The two did a live morning broadcast urging Genesee County residents to donate a new toy for children in need; both are 2011 Red Kettle Christmas Campaign cochairs. “The Salvation Army is very concerned this year because they have exhausted their reserve of toys the last two years during Christmas distribution. With the increased numbers of families needing help, it has become even more of a challenge to meet the need,” said Prahin. “Genesee County is a very supportive and generous community,” said Bishop.
