Burton man still missing after more than two weeks
      BURTON — Flyers hung inside and outside of the Burton Police Department Tuesday asking for anyone with information on the whereabouts of a missing city resident to call the department. Twenty-six-year-old Ryan Standridge was reported missing on Oct. 18 by his mother, Lori Grooms, after he did not return to help mow the lawn that afternoon.

Old Newsboys call for community support
      GENESEE COUNTY -— In 2008, 7,316 children across Genesee County had a gift under the tree because of the Old Newsboys. The organization’s Christmas Box Program provides a sweatsuit, socks and underwear, a pair of gloves, stocking cap, toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss and an ageappropriate toy to at-risk children.
